b'A haunted house on the Channel Islands becomes the focus of a spiritual medium trying to cleanse the building. At the same time a mother waits for her husband to return from the Second World War with her daughter and son who claim that the house is haunted by a little boy whom they play with. The servants believe them but she being a staunch catholic does not.
