This week we are going to talk about THE QUIT. If you don't think you have the tendency to quit your health and weight-loss mission...all you have to do is look in your life's rearview mirror. If you are anything like me, you've got a 100 starts and 99 quits. The mission THIS TIME is to NOT QUIT. We may deviate, but we do not need to quit.

Loosing weigh is hard. Keeping it off is harder. What’s harder than losing weight or keeping weight off? Getting started!! There are a 1000 weight-loss programs out there from Slim-Fast(R) to personal one-on-one trainers. But you’ve lost weight before; it’s not the “know how,” it’s the “RIGHT NOW.”

Nurse Kevin is a National Geographic Photographer wanna-be turned Registered Nurse with almost 25-years of clinical experience ranging from pediatric care in public educational institutions to hospice nursing in private homes. He specializes weight-loss, health-promotion and health care in a single-origin, grass-fed, fixed-gear, slow-roasted, individualized plans of care focused on starting, enduring, and “almost” succeeding. But don’t let the “almost” fool you; that is the key to Nurse Kevin’s approach to loosing weigh and keeping it off.

When Nurse Kevin is not being a jerk to his fellow School Nurses, doing more visiting than working, and showing up for work on time every day (so annoying), he enjoys gravel-grinding, photographing, gardening, and occasionally throwing down some cast iron over an open fire.
