Looks are not everything...not at all. Looks are superficial as are the people who are influenced by looks. To be looked at and judged takes two: the one who looks and the one who looks. One person “looks” a certain way and another person “sees” how that person looks. We who “see” have to take care that we are not manipulated by the one who “looks’ ” assumed attempts to influence us and create a semblance of what the one who sees should “look” like. Considering the one who “looks” beautiful is not attempting to do anything more than demonstrate society’s (the lookers) expectation of beauty.
