On the isle of Honsh\\u016b lies one of Japans most majestic and beautiful natural creations. I am talking of course about the legendary Mount Fuji. An almost 13,000 foot high volcano, Mount Fuji has been a popular destination for tourists and native Japanese alike for hundreds of years.

But like many things in life, some times beauty comes with a macabre cost. Nestled at the northwestern flank of Mount Fuji lies a truly horrific and somber locale: The Aokigahara Forest. The Aokigahara, also known as \\u201cThe Sea of Trees\\u201d is a forest that has grown over the course of centuries from the remains of volcanic lava plateaus. This unique combinations of forestry and lava bedding create a place that is both unnaturally dark and eerily silent. While these conditions alone are enough to frighten the feint of heart, what is more chilling is what the forest is notorious for\\u2026
