008-EN - Interview with Jadwiga Brontē

Published: Sept. 24, 2020, 10:37 a.m.

Jadwiga is a multi-award winning photo-journalist, documentarian and visual researcher. I only learned about her work recently, when one of my friends sent me an article on BBC about her latest project: The Good Memories, a project about strengthening the connection between mothers who are in prison in Moldova and their children. Jadwiga tried to create memories and help building their self-esteem as mothers rather than prisoners. And that's what Jadwiga's work is about: it focuses around humanity, identity, social and political issues.

You can find more of her work on her website (jadwigabronte.com) and you can also buy her photobook, part of a limited 1st edition, about the Invisible People of Belarus.
