St. Luke's: A new vision for collaborative healthcare

Published: Sept. 16, 2020, 7 p.m.

St. Luke’s University Health Network spans 10 hospitals and 300 sites across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2019, St Luke’s deployed Microsoft 365 and Teams, which helped them rapidly collaborate, staying on top of the latest COVID-19 treatment protocols from around the world. Teams also helped the experts from pulmonary, ICU and other disciplines rapidly refine COVID-19 treatment protocols to reduce intubations by 50%. In other parts of the organization there was a rapid shift to Virtual Rounding and Virtual Visits to put the best specialists in frequent contact with patients while conserving valuable PPE.
