A woman of strength and incredible courage, Mrs Herzfeld will speak as well about the challenges she and her husband face daily as they raise their children who suffer from this debilitating illness. She'll also discuss the crowd funding campaign to help transform her home into a more accessible space for her 4 children with muscular dystrophy, the efforts to help her win an adaptive van through an on line contest and the unwavering support she has received from past present students -- myself included.
