b'Episode 74 Jarrod Green

20 year old Jarrod Green went missing from Searcy, Arkansas on September 30, 1994. His car was found in a local Walmart parking lot. According to multiple witnesses, he had become mixed up with drug dealers, and owed them money. He had left town for a short time before returning home. A week later, he vanished. In the days before he vanished, Jarrod retrieved his gun from a friend that had been holding onto it for collateral; telling his friend he needed the gun for protection.
Lots of rumors circulated. The same names of people who may have been involved in Jarrod\'s disappearance came up repeatedly. Over time, some of the people associated with the main suspect in the case, Brandon Wheeler, wound up dead. Authorities charged Wheeler in 2017 with Jarrod\'s murder, but the case was dropped before trial. Apparently, authorities didn\'t feel that they had enough at the time to get a conviction. While the charges being dropped was disappointing to Jarrod\'s family, the fact they still didn\'t know where Jarrod was just as difficult. It\'s their belief, and the belief of police, that Jarrod is dead, and at this point, they\'d just like to have his remains to say a proper goodbye.
In this episode, Jarrod\'s sister Shannon discusses his case, and the frustrating turns it has taken over the years.

Jarrod is a White male with Brown hair and Blue/Green eyes. He was 6ft tall and weighed 140-150 pounds. When he was last seen seen, he was wearing A pale green short-sleeved sweater over a light-colored shirt, baggy tan khaki pants, white socks and Birkenstock or Nike sandals. Jarrod has a scar on his left hand between his index and middle fingers, a tattoo on his abdomen, and a tattoo of the Tasmanian Devil cartoon character with the initials "SH" on his right shoulder blade. He has a bump on his nose from a prior fracture.
