Baby Rue and Family

Published: March 23, 2021, 10 a.m.

Baby Rue was born on 12/11/20, after a high risk pregnancy, where her mom had hyperemesis, circumvallate placenta, and preterm labor symptoms that started in October. After her parents noticed that she was having breathing problems at home they brought Rue back to the hospital. Doctors refused tests and just said that she had complex acid reflux and a milk protein allergy. After getting an MRI her parents were driving home went they got a phone call to rush Rue back to the hospital. When they returned to the hospital they were met with news that Rue had a large tumor under her brain near her optical nerves. Since her diagnosis, her parents have been living in the hospital to be with her during her surgeries and treatments. Both parents are unable to work and are being told that insurance wont cover some surgeries and medications. Baby Rue and her parents desperately need our help, please donate to their GoFundMe.
