Have you ever wondered what the road travelled looks like for someone who sits in front of the cameras and brings the Sports News into your living room? Well today\'s guest opens his kimono to share some stories about just such a journey. Sam Cosentino from SportsNet drops by to shed a little light on the past NHL draft, some of the stories leading up to it, what it\'s like working with Brian Burke and a few funny, but true stories about Sam\'s humble beginnings as he pursued his passion of becoming a sports broadcaster/analyst.

Originally from Mississauga, Ontario Sam spent his youth playing baseball and worked with the Toronto Blue Jays in a few different roles around the field and locker room. He continued to pursue his first love, baseball, which brought him to Spring Arbor College in Michigan after high school, where Sam studied broadcasting and started calling games from the university basketball team. The broadcasting bug bit Sam hard after college as this now became his passion. With various stops along the way, including the former Canadian Baseball League, calling games for the Barrie Colts and a little radio time on the Fan 590, Sam eventually earned himself a full-time gig as the face of Junior hockey in Canada on one of our national sports networks, SportsNet.
