69. Let's REDEFINE what self care REALLY is!

I'm excited to chat with you about how we can change our mindset about self care practices!

We tend to think that a mani pedi, a facial, a massage, a glass or wine or some chocolate are self care practices.

While they are all amazing & obviously something we can do for self care, that's not what's truly caring for our selves.

Let's chat about how we can redefine self care & what we can do to take care of our mental, physical & emotional health.

  • setting boundaries & saying no instead of saying yes when you know you don\\u2019t want to
  • skipping the wine/vodka soda and having lemon water or a tea latte instead
  • going to bed a half hour earlier instead of watching another episode of the voice/ new girl/HGTV/(insert your fave show!)
  • doing a slower workout that feels good instead of pushing yourself
  • resting during your period
  • surrounding yourself with people who lift you up
  • sleeping in a little later instead of going to that boot camp class
  • drinking more water
  • making your meal instead of grabbing something out
  • meal prepping
