Today, I have a conversation with Intergalactic Commander Alexander Ebalo, who is my friend and housemate and someone that I just have so much love and respect for. He danced with Culture Shock San Diego and SeaWorld. We talk about enforced gender roles within the dance commmunity, shame and accountability, and ending cycles of harm by keeping a flexible idea of ourselves and of others. 

For each episode this season, I want to raise awareness + donate to activism organizations that contribute to a cause that these speakers are passionate about. This portion is dedicated to United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led community in the country.
