Today, I have a conversation with Dr. Arnel Calvario, someone that brings so much light to the world and someone that I really look up to, and I am so grateful to have been able to connect with him. We talk about identity, putting people first, the history of the current dance team built in the collegiate system, and love-based conversation and how that is different from toxic positivity. He is the founder of Kaba Modern, President of Culture Shock, Doctor of Occupational Therapy, and created the Leadership Tools for the Dance Leader, an online program helping leaders realize their full potential. 

For each episode this season, I want to raise awareness + donate to activism organizations that contribute to a cause that these speakers are passionate about. This portion is dedicated to Ladies of Hip Hop. Ladies of Hip Hop is a nonprofit organization that provides artistic opportunities for girls & women in Hip-Hop culture. Ladies of Hip Hop also documents and preserves women's roles and presence within Hip Hop culture.
