We live in a toxic society where everything seems urgent. So many people are living with high levels of sensory overload, that it takes just a little thing to set things off.

Cliches like "the struggle is real", "grind into the ground", "shop to you drop" have become common terms we've come to accept. It's as if resting is a bad thing like it's an extra commodity we can't afford!

To get to a place where we do our best work, it's going to require a complete mindset shift, a counter cultural approach. This place is working from a place of rest.

Dr. Saundra Dalton-Smith is a physician who shares her philosophy that resting is vital for our overall health. She shares in our interview how we were made by God to work from a place of rest, and how we don't need to work to earn your rest.
