Armed with an Ipad of historical photos Evan brought the original turn of the century photo into modern times, matching it frame for frame.\\nThe book is a collection of New York's most famous structures with Evan painstakingly trying to re-create the past; shot for shot with his present photo. He says his specialty lies in aerial photography where architectural portraits come alive as he's hanging from helicopters sans doors, commando style high above the New York landscape. Ironically he suffers from motion sickness when he gets down, but the perfect results he says are 'well worth the nausea!'\\n When taking these photos such as The New York Stock Exchange, Evan felt the strong presence of the earlier photographers in 1915 who have climbed onto statues with even heavier equipment to get the shot.\\n When he's not risking life and limb to get the shot, Evan shoots the homes of the rich and famous namely John Legend, Lenny Kravitz and Joan Rivers."
