Eating disorders have been on the rise since the beginning of the pandemic - many physicians and mental health care providers have reported seeing worrying increases. On today\\u2019s episode, we\\u2019re going to take a look at what\\u2019s driving that increase. We\\u2019ll also talk about treatment, prevention, and some misconceptions about eating disorders.

Chelsea Kronengold is a mental health professional with an extensive background in clinical psychology, body image, and eating disorders. She is the communications lead at the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), overseeing the organization's content, communications, media and public relations.\\xa0

Dr. Kathryn Ward is a licensed clinical Psychologist at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego's Medical Behavioral Unit, a medical stabilization unit for children, adolescents, and young adults with eating disorders.
