But we needed to get a whole lot of business done first in this MMO Weekly. You get some high praise for new movies in What We’re Watching & then some serious analysis in the News Of The Week before some of the more familiar segments of Do You Care, a Box Office Update, Trailer Thoughts, and Audience Interaction. Now both Mike & I are big fans of the horror genre. So it was a treat to review The Invisible Man and The Lodge atop the episode. We’ll also review a neon purple Nic Cage in Color Out Of Space and later in the show, that new Candyman trailer from Jordan Peele & Nia DaCosta. If you’re not game for horror movies over your winter weekend, then don’t worry, we also review the FilmTwitter favorite, Portrait Of A Lady On Fire, and your newest Netflix comedy option, Pete Davidson: Alive From New York. Mike 1 then uses his legal background to shed some light on the recent Harvey Weinstein verdict, and we’ll later comment on the Cesar Awards debacle later in the segment. We also break for some happier news here and breakdown the power shift at Disney with Bob Iger’s announced retirement, recap his many career highlights, and introduce the incoming CEO, Bob Chapek. DYC then covers a bunch of fun topics like next week’s theatrical releases including Pixar’s Onward & we break for another trailer review of Mark Wahlberg’s Spenser Confidential. There’s a big story on the future of Star Wars, some news on Creed 3, Parasite’s streaming home, and the next project from The Lighthouse’s Robert Eggars. You get a brief Box Office Update, that trailer review of Candyman, and then you’re terrific as always in our latest SixDegreesOfMMO. Do stay tuned to hear your next challenge.
