We reviewed 40 properties now streaming on your favorite on demand viewing service, and we branched out into a few carryovers from previous months, Docu-series, TV Series, Comedy Specials, and Short Films before we dive into all of the recent Feature Films added to your last three months of Netflix. It’s not our first Netflix mega-pod. We reviewed the entire 2017 year of Netflix in episode 9, dedicated full episode reviews to Mudbound (ep 33) and The Cloverfield Paradox (ep 37), and then we covered the first quarter of 2018 of January, February, and March in episode 61. This is yet another comprehensive overview, and we offer rapid fire reviews of one property after the next, 40 in all in this pod. We featured other mid-year check ins with the entire film world regarding HBO with our survey of the entire catalog of HBO Go and HBO On Demand in episode 82. Then we previewed the latest slate of Trailers and previewed the upcoming buzz worthy movies in our Mid Year Oscars Report (eps 80 & 81). The rest of our podcast catalog features the Academy’s past, present, and future. We have numerous retrospectives on awards from Oscar History including 9 halfisodes on Best Original Songs. We covered the entire 2017 ramp up to Oscar Night in our Sprint and reviewed each of the major nominees and big 7 categories. Then we’ve already profiled many of next year’s contenders including full episodes and sometimes two parters on Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, A Quiet Place, Deadpool 2, Hereditary, and The Incredibles 2. And that’s only a start. Feel free to chat with us on social media. We’re on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, and Gmail.
