That means, you get a mammoth Oscar Race Update atop our usual variety show with a category by category sweep through the British Academy’s big night. Then you also get some trademark MMOW segments like Audience Interaction & SixDegreesOfMMO, What We’re Watching, Box Office, and Do You Care. So it’s another loaded weekly update of all things Hollywood on MMOW. We’ll discuss some Grammy reax, as well as the WGA’s on next week’s MMOW as this one is all about the BAFTA’s. The Favourite finally has its moment, or 7 of them. We then breakdown if Bohemian Rhapsody won enough to stay alive for the major awards. Mike 1’s conspiracy theory about animated film remains chillingly alive in his mind, and Also Mike says Documentary film is smelling a little less stinky after this win. Then we breakdown how editing, the Outstanding British Film, Best Sound, and the two screenplay categories could fit into the final Oscar puzzle. But around these undercard theories, we have some major Oscar Race updates in the Supporting Actress, and both the Lead Actor and Actress categories. Many others went chalk (AKA to the likely winner), but we do have some wrenches thrown into some of the larger races, and it all builds to the biggest question of this night and the night of February 24th, which is of course, who will win Best Film / Best Picture?! So you more than get your money’s worth with our Oscar Race Update, but MMO Weekly is much more. We have a terrific array of audience generated entries to our last SixDegreesOfMMO: Bruce Willis to Lady Gaga. You make us look silly, we make us look sillier, and you’ve outdone yourselves with these responses. Thank you, as always, and we try to read a few more than usual since they’re all so good. We leave you a weird challenge for next week, and we hope you have half as much fun with this one as you just did. Then we do give you some of our other typical MMOW segments of What We’re Watching including reviews of The Front Runner, McQueen, Generation Wealth, Into The Okavango, Big Mouth: My Furry Valentine, High Flying Bird, Ray Romano’s new comedy special, Alt Right, a preview to our upcoming American Psycho retrospective for All The Horror, and Friend From College: Season 2.
