So it’s time for another MMO Weekly! After another jam packed week of movie news, surprises at the box office, social media interactions, and a whole bunch of new trailers, you don’t want to miss how we recap the week that was & preview the week to come in MMOW. Game of Thrones has transfixed one Mike while Wrestlemania has dominated the other’s life. We have takes enough to spare in the early banter. But we still manage to review & preview a bunch more movies & trailers. So our What We’re Watching segment includes Game of Thrones season 7 & everything Wrestling. Then we also discuss The Wind, Destroyer, Her Smell, CollegeHumor’s Total Forgiveness, & the Movie Trivia Schmoedown. Later in the episode, we’ll also review the trailers for The Lion King, The Addams Family, Avengers: Endgame, Stuber, The Professor, & Netflix’s Wine Country. Now we already dedicated an entire episode last week to recap & discuss the Star Wars Celebration panel and The Rise of Skywalker Episode IX trailer. Do be sure to check that episode out as well, but we also had another podcast recommendation for Star Wars fans as well. The news of the week centered around the streaming wars. We have theories about how the Academy is playing it, and we compare & contrast the offerings of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple+, and Disney+. There’s a box office update after Shazam held on to the top spot for another week, and we also chat about next week’s theatrical releases in Do You Care.
