The Hidden Man of the Bible

This week we began a new series, “The Hidden Man of the Bible.” These lessons were given by Charles and Cora Fillmore in the fall of 1934. These unusually clear and understandable lessons contain some sweet gems. Interestingly, Fillmore gives a bit on his view of how the Bible came about and the Apocrypha. He also mentions Hitler and his followers. He boldly states, “We shall ask that a new Bible be complied and that the feminine side of man be expressed more prominently in that new Bible.” Fillmore identifies this man within, the hidden man, in this way: “The fact is this man within is God. Concentrate on God identified. It is the God center within every one of us that will reveal to us what we are in God Mind.” The affirmation for the week is: I am the man hid with Christ in God, and I am glorified in the discovery that the kingdom of God is within me.
