Laurie has always had a passion for people, corporate and team structure and the difference in leadership and communication styles.\\xa0 She'd watch what motivated individuals and teams, and what sucked the wind out of their sails.\\xa0 Maybe she had a small advantage as she could literally see the energy being deflated during certain situations.\\xa0 \\xa0 We\\u2019ve probably all had good and not so good leaders. \\xa0 Leading is hard, but so is being with someone that maybe doesn\\u2019t know how to lead.\\xa0 Why is Laurie talking about leaders and leading as a topic for Message of the Universe?\\xa0 The role of leader is changing. What we look for and what motivates and influence us has changed and will continue to change. Where we are all in different stages of our life that impact what we look for, what we expect, and we need to remember to create pathways for future generations.\\xa0 You are a leader if you are a parent.\\xa0 You are a leader if you are around people.\\xa0 At some point in your life, you will be called to lead.
