b'Emily Hills began her U.S. Army career as a wheel vehicle mechanic and recovery vehicle operator. While serving in combat, she saw the important role the AH-64 Apache helicopters played in support of ground forces and knew then that is what she wanted to do. She shares her story of being a soldier on the ground, becoming a pilot, and the passion she has now for saving boots on the ground from enemy combatants as an Apache pilot.
