What do you get when you put a social network and an educational classroom together? I'm not 100% sure, but Barbara Mallinson, the Founder and CEO of Obami is. Obami is a social learning platform being used by hundreds of schools across Africa, Europe and the United States. It has been recognised as one of the “Top 10 Most Innovative Technologies in the World” by Netexplo, UNESCO and partners, and was identified as one of the “Top 20 Startups in Africa” by Forbes. And today we spend some time with Barbara, the brains and driving force behind it all.
