Maryland Transit Times: New Buses for 2018
b'Maryland Transit Times host Rob Lewis speaks with Director of Bus Maintenance David Varner about the 70 new arrivals to the MDOT MTA bus fleet. The new buses are lighter to help save fuel, have new safety features such as safe turn alert to inform pedestrians that the bus is turning and a new dashboard to help improve with maintenance. These new buses will replace some of the older models in the fleet and will have a life span of 12 years. We look forward to seeing the new buses on the road servicing our riders.'
