b'Host of Maryland Transit Times Joanna Campbell sits down with MTA\\u2019s Administrative Training Manager Ed Moore, who shared stories of his tenure at the MTA. Ed worked as a bus operator with the Baltimore Transit Company from 1963 to 1968. He returned to the MTA in 1976. When asked how the MTA has changed through the years, Ed spoke about the evolution of the MTA with the addition of Metro Subway, Light Rail and most recently, #BaltimoreLink. He likes the striving for world-class customer service that\\u2019s become a key component of the recent changes at the MTA. Ed recalls that bus operators received only four or five days of training back then. Today\\u2019s operators receive 10 weeks of full-time training, with continuous emphasis on safe, efficient, reliable transit, and of course, world-class customer service.'
