In this interview I get to have a chat with Allison Littlefair who  shares her story with me to help raise awareness of the medicinal  benefits of cannabis for people with chronic pain.  Having competed in gymnastics from a young age she started to  expierience pain in her body at the age of 15 began a long journey of  treating pain unsuccessfully with tablets for many years. It was about 5  years ago when she first expierienced the benefits of cannabis and  hasn\'t looked back since.  She was so blown away by the benefits cannabis brought to her and the  many kids in the UK she has now writen a book called "Walter and the  magic seed".  (buy a copy here https://www.walterandthemagicseed.com/why-walter ). about the book : "Walter is a Wizard on a mission....to spread education and awareness  about the cannabis plant and to help his friend Titch, who is suffering  from seizures. Younger and older readers alike will enjoy and learn from Walter and his  friend Terrance the Troll as they explore the benefits of cannabis and  CBD in the hope of giving Titch the quality of life she deserves. Many children across the globe are having to face life threatening daily  battles trying to access the right medication to cope with multiple  seizures every day. For so many kids - cannabis is the only medicine that can reduce  seizures and in a lot of cases stop the seizures from occurring  altogether, without all of the nasty side effects caused by  pharmaceutical drugs. Cannabis medications are supposedly legal now here in the Uk, however  nobody can or will prescribe it, leaving parents having to break the law  and often spend thousands of pounds to gain access from countries where  it is legal. Cannabis has been such a taboo topic for many years, despite showing us  many of it\'s healing properties, including significant possibilities in  shrinking cancerous tumours as well as anti-inflammatory properties  which can help with many different chronic pain conditions. Cannabis can also play a huge part in helping to save our environment if  we changed the use of plastics and building materials to cannabis based  products, such as hemp based plastic, which breaks down in a fraction  of the time of normal plastic. We believe the main way to remove these stigmas associated with the  cannabis plant is by educating the next generation on the healing  benefits as well as the environmental benefits this plant has to offer  and finally speak the truth about cannabis. This is in the hope of  helping other families in similar situations access the help they need."    If you would like to support the development of the Cork Cannabis  Activist hub the patreon is www.patreon.com/martinsworld For BitCoin  donations follow this link https://checkout.opennode.com/p/597e0e1d-ede6-47be-8d83-854c4237b06e  \\u200b
