“God is for me.” Can you make that statement with a sense of certainty? All the time, God is on my side. He is my biggest encourager and sees in me the greatness I was created for. Others may fail me, forget me, and even turn against me, but God is always there. He is faithfully, persistently for me – always. When life melts down, circumstances change, and negative feelings overwhelm me, this I know: God is for me. Repeat it, slowly: God-is-for-me. God is for you. Parents may forget you, teachers may neglect you, friends may be ashamed of you, but this you should know: God is for you. Your birthday is circled on His calendar. He’s carved your name on a tree in heaven! God is for you. Isaiah 49:16 says, “I have written you on my hand.” No one can defeat you. You are protected. God is for you.
