Intro

A few privacy-focused news articles, some opinions on censorship, and celebrities opening their mouths.

Surveillance has been spreading since the coronavirus pandemic

Celebrities never mattered

  • Unless you’re looking for a career in acting and aspire to be the same, there really is no point to listening to celebrities.
    • During the pandemic, it’s like their egos shined bright and amplified who they really are https://www.theatlantic.com/culture/archive/2020/03/celebrities-have-never-been-less-entertaining-coronavirus/608452/: attention-seeking, uninteresting people. Maybe they were just interesting, post lens, from how the editing studio had you portray them.
    • I’ll admit I’m  biased toward musicians and think that it’s great that many perform live concerts, because that’s what they love doing - it feels good to perform and their fans will feel the same.
    • Of course, everything I’ve said is just a complaint, and one can simply chose to not follow those people.
    • Most people probably haven’t been to the movies in over a year and, somehow, survived. I feel the same about Social Media - I haven’t been on Facebook for a while and I’ve survived - no withdrawals.
