S1E6: Babylon

Published: June 22, 2020, 10:11 p.m.

Welcome to S1E6, Babylon!  Is your bed made of money?  We didn’t think so, so you’ll just have to settle for listening to our podcast.  Kristina and Elias make two very different styles of Mai Tai and discuss Canadian Donuts (the one we could not remember was Tim Hortons) among other subjects.  Drink lesson starts at 0:41; episode discussion starts at 7:46.

Corrections:

  • Some suspect that Ethel Rosenberg, not Julius Rosenberg, was the one who did not have involvement in the crimes but who was implicated because of her marriage.
  • Columbia did not start admitting women until 1983 (so our joking guesses of 1960s/1970s was not even correct).
