Trusting the Giver

The Golden Age of Israel. David ushered it in as the nation's first king with God's favor. His son Solomon continues Israel's prosperity and constructs the Temple, the center of their faith. God gifts him with wisdom and asks for the new king's trust in return. But when he ruled from his own judgement and not God's own, his Songs of love turned into the bleak Ecclesiastes bemoaning the meaninglessness of wealth and possession. For all his wisdom, Solomon did not trust the Giver. Can you?
