And he colors that with what it is not. The outward signs, the rites, the social standing, even Paul's own history as a Pharisee...they count for little more than rubbish. The freedom in Christ that Jews and Gentiles alike have transcends social and racial boundaries. We are followers of Christ because of who we are and what we do.
