Kingdom Tide --- Jeremiah 29:1, 4-14 Our series on the Old Testament Prophets continue with Jeremiah, known sometimes as the Weeping Prophet. While much of Jeremiah is lamentation at the state of Israel with warnings of the upcoming destruction of the Temple and exile into captivity, we're focusing on one of the few passages of hope that shine out of the chaos. When the Israelites no longer had a city, congregation, or home God commands God's people to grow and to plant. To echo the God of Creation in the land of their exile. God had plans to renew the Kingdom in more ways than one. During our own congregational exile in this last year, where can you plant your own seeds of prosperity? Both for yourself and for others?
