The Epic of Gilgamesh is one of the oldest myths in history,  from one of the most fascinating places in human history, ancient Sumeria. The stories first appear in written form on clay tablets over 4000 years old, and the sometimes striking similarities it has to later works such as the Book of Genesis,  Enoch, and even the Iliad have caught the attention of many!
