Messengers of Hope

This Sunday, the Sixth  Sunday after Pentecost, we will continue our sermon series, Acts: Stories, Scenes, & Spirit. Loop Church is excited to welcome Rev. Shannon Jammal-Hollemans as our guest preacher.

The text we will explore together is Acts 8:26-40, a scene in which the Spirit leads Philip down a desert road and an unexpected encounter with an Ethiopian eunuch. The Spirit moves and the Ethiopian official invites Philip into his chariot to read the Scripture. The whole trip down the desert road leads to a watering hole, where the scene ends with a baptism and great rejoicing.
