Heythere, Wonderlings! Angela Bowen here, the host of Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast. Here is S6E19: The Little Women,which aired on March 31, 1993. In this episode Kevin is having a hard time dealing with Winnie doing better than him on the SAT's. Jack is finding it hard to fathom Norma joining the workforce. What are the Arnold men to do? Take the girls out for a night of bowling, of course. Also in this episode I check on the SAT score that is required to get into Harvard and Yale. I also check to see in the company Norma works for is an actual company, Micro Electronics. She worked for a start up software company. The one I looked up is based in Ohio, most likely not the one she worked for. I have to say Kevin’s attitude towards Winnie is not surprising when she gets a higher SAT score than he does, I mean, we’re used to seeing Kevin overreact and blow his top, but the way Jack treated Norma, well, I’ll just say he earned that spot on the couch that night. Did he really not think after she got her degree that she would decide to actually use and get a job. A job that pays $2.25 an hour btw. Good for her! Later this week, I cover S6E20: Reunion, which aired on April 28, 1993. In this episode the Arnolds travel back to where Jack and Norma grew up to celebrate their high school reunion. But while Norma's parents are thrilled to see Norma, Kevin and Wayne, their enthusiasm for Jack isn't so pronounced. Have a great night everyone!
