b'Happy Friday Night Seaver Fans,\\n\\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Show Me That Smile Again: A Growing Pains Podcast.\\n\\nToday I\'ll be covering the first BEN SEAVER episode for the month of March.\\n\\nS2E16: My Brother, Myself, which aired on February 24, 1987.\\n\\nIn this episode when Ben hits puberty he gets advice from Mike and tries to hit on his babysitter; Maggie and Jason go on a date.\\n\\nI thought this was a cute episode. I rated it an average 3/5.\\n\\n1. I liked Ben in his suit, the one he wears to the Cosby Show taping and the one he hears to put the moves on his babysitter. He looks like a mini Mike. \\n\\nSadly, he tries to hard and later finds out that it\'s not that difficult to talk to girls, just pick a topic all people enjoy talking about and go with that, like TV or going to live tapings of tv shows. That really gets Trudy\'s attention. \\n\\n2. Ben\'s description of going through puberty, the tv friendly semi accurate version. "It felt like my body didn\'t quite fit anymore" Perfectly worded Benny.\\n\\n3. Jason trying to give his kids advice and failing miserably constantly putting his foot in his mouth, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.\\n\\nThe two things I didn\'t like about this episode.\\n\\n1. Mike pushing himself onto Stacy, guilting her into staying and kissing her without her full consent. He gets a well deserved slap to the face later on, when she comes to her senses.\\n\\n2. Mike giving Ben bad advice about how girls don\'t want nerds, they want someone who\'s unpredictable and a little dangerous. Not to mention who sprays their shirt with deodorant and not their bare armpit?\\n\\nJoin me next week as we move on to BEN SEAVER\'S next episode S4E8: Ben\'s First Kiss, which aired on December 7, 1988.\\n\\nIn this episode Ben wants to score a date with a classmate who is not allowed to date. He throws himself a spontaneous birthday party at home and invites her. With help from Mike and Carol, they concoct a scheme to make it all happen.\\n\\nIF YOU\'D LIKE TO CONNECT AND FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE PODCAST VISIT THESE SOCIAL MEDIA SITES:\\n\\nFACEBOOK: SHOW ME THAT SMILE AGAIN: A GROWING PAINS PODCAST\\n\\nINSTAGRAM: GROWINGPAINSPODCAST\\n\\nGMAIL: LBOMWONDERYEARSPODCAST@GMAIL.COM\\n\\nHAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, EVERYONE!'
