b"Happy Friday Tanner Fans,

Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast.

Today, I covered the final episode in the Full House Back To School Series with Full House S8E2:Breaking Away, which aired on October 4, 1994.

In this episode it’s all about letting go and sadly Jesse isn’t ready when his and Becky’s twin boys Nicky and Alex start preschool.

While Becky starts out the inconsolable one, Jesse remains the strong one or so she thinks, but as soon as the boys enter preschool they’re off like a shot, leaving Jesse in the dust minus a goodbye kiss, as the boys are all about their independence once they cross the threshold into the classroom, they separate easily from each other and Jesse excited to try all the fun activities that preschool has to offer, like trains and puzzles, not even stopping to look back or give a kiss goodbye to their Dad.

Feeling jilted, Jesse refuses to leave the classroom making himself a nuisance and a distraction to the teacher and the other students to the point of coming off as a classroom creeper while he hides under a desk to silently observe, but gets noticed by a a student only to lead to the boy screaming stranger danger and running in fear toward the teacher.

Can you imagine if Nicky and Alex were older and he did this? How embarrassing?

This of course doesn’t sit well with Jesse, so he hastily pulls them out of school only to make a poor attempt at home schooling them until Becky finds out the truth.

Also in this episode Gia’s influence on Stephanie is strong as she changes her appearance and has total disregard to the upkeep of her room, which leads Michelle to take drastic measures by moving in with DJ.

Jesse, Becky, and the boys get a preschool redo the next day and it ends with Jesse and Becky watching the boys through the classroom window as they settle into their first day with their new classmates and teacher Miss Suzie.

Overall, I enjoyed this episode it brought back some memories albeit fuzzy ones of my first day of kindergarten where I found a girl I knew from preschool and we played house together.

I totally related to Stephanie and the dirty room scenario. When I was growing up I always was talked to about not shoving my clothes and stuff into closets and under the bed and to actually put them away inthe dresser.

Even as an adult, Jeremy will say I'm not the cleanest person when it comes to my side of our bedroom.

Some habits we have as children never truly go away as we become adults.

Also giving a shout out to Bonnie Urseth who played Miss Suzie, I play a few clips from Punky Brewster Season 2 The Gift, where Bonnie portrays a mentally challenged school custodian who Punky befriends and teaches us all a lesson who accepting people with disabilities.

Next week, I will be covered the first of two Halloween Episodes, Full House S3E8 Divorce Court, DJ and Stephanie divorce each other basically sleep in separate rooms, due to an ongoing argument of the elementary school Halloween carnival that DJ promised Stephanie she'd go to, while DJ now in junior high would rather go to her friend Kathy Santoni's Halloween party.

The guys step in and help the girls get their sisterhood back on track leading DJ to compromise with Steph allowing dher to do both the Halloween Carnival and later her friend's party.

Speaking of the guys, there's a who's most athletic race with the wager being the losers have to go to the Halloween Carnival in which ever the winner's costume choices are.

To EMAIL The Podcast Go To:

OMHCFHFHPODCAST@GMAIL.COM

Have A Great Weekend!"
