b"Hey Everyone,\\n\\nAngela Bowen here, the host of I Left My Heart In Everwood: An Everwood Podcast.\\n\\nToday, I bring to you the first episode of the podcast, Everwood S1E1: The Pilot, which aired on September 16, 2002.\\n\\nIn this episode Dr. Andrew Brown is a world-famous neurosurgeon whose career always overshadowed his obligations as a parent, until the day that his loving wife died. Faced with the daunting task of raising his two kids, 9-year-old Delia and 15-year-old Ephram by himself, Andrew moves his family from New York to the beautiful Rocky Mountain town of Everwood, Colorado, where he opens a free medical clinic. Delia adjusts quickly to her new surroundings, but the sudden shift in everything he has ever known is hardest on Ephram, who resents all the years his father lavished on his career at the expense of his family.\\n\\nI really enjoyed the Pilot of this episode as we get to meet some (not all) of the characters and see the buds of these relationships start to form. \\n\\nEven though I watched this show a while ago, I'm looking forward to rediscovering and falling in love all over again with the characters and reliving the moments that made this show so great as I cover the episodes for this podcast.\\n\\nI hope you all enjoy it as well.\\n\\nJoin me next time when I cover Everwood S1E2: The Great Doctor Brown, which aired on September 23, 2002.\\n\\nIn this episode Andy and Ephram's fragile relationship is further strained when it appears that Andy is once again putting work before family.
