b"Hey Everyone,\\n\\nAngela Bowen here, the host of Diff'rent Strokes To Move The World: A Diff'rent Strokes Podcast.\\n\\nToday, I covered S1E2: The Social Worker, which aired on November 10, 1978.\\n\\nIn this episode a social worker investigates the boys' home life and tells Mr. Drummond that she believes black children belong in black households. When Drummond tells this to Mrs. Garrett while she is vacuuming the living room, Arnold overhears this and comes to the conclusion that he doesn't want them around anymore.\\n\\nI really enjoyed this episode. I loved Arnold's one-liners. Phillip Drummond telling the boys that he loved them after they told him they wanted to go live with a black couple was so heartfelt, even after only a couple weeks together he doesn't want to be split apart. Luckily for this new family Arnold is corrected on what he thought he heard Phillip say and both Willis and Phillip set the social worker straight when she informed them her computer requested that black kids do better in black families.\\n\\nI really enjoy Willis's protective nature of looking after Arnold but sometimes his stubbornness gets in the way of his logical reasoning.\\n\\nI for one am looking forward to revisiting these characters again and watching them grow up as they face new challenges overcoming obstacles and discover their strengths and weaknesses, as I go through the episodes.\\n\\nJoin me next week as I cover S1E3: Mother's last Visit, which aired on November 17, 1978.\\n\\nIn this episode Mr. Drummond's mother arrives for an unscheduled visit and has an adverse reaction to her son's new family situation.\\n\\nIf you would like to EMAIL the Podcast Go To:\\n\\npunkypowerpbpodcast@gmail.com\\n\\nStay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Positive!\\n\\nWe WILL Get Through THIS!!"
