Remember Acai? It was a super food that some Doctor on Oprah said was a super food!\xa0Harvested in the rainforests of Brazil, a\xe7a\xed tastes like a vibrant blend of berries and chocolate. Everyone jumped on it and oddly enough you don't hear so much about it. I mean if it was a super food that cured all and worked for everyone, would we still be using it? So today I noticed that\xa0Garcinia Cambogia had made it to the front page of yahoo, and when I check it out I saw my good friend Dr. Oz. Now I have nothing against Dr. Oz, but it seems he likes to promote stuff that then runs wild on the Internet and\xa0Garcinia Cambogia is no exception. If you google it, it is everywhere (and everyone is citing "DR Oz says its the Holy Grail..." Here is what they are saying:

Promote 4 Times More\xa0Weight Loss\xa0Than Diet and Exercise
Boost Energy
Deliver Rich in\xa0Antioxidants\xa0To Your Body
Promote Cardiovascular and\xa0Digestive Health
Affordable
Helps Remove Belly Fat

What is HCA?
Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) is a derivative of citric acid that is found in a variety of tropical plants. According to Wikipedia, "Laboratory and animal studies of HCA have produced results that indicate a potential for modulation of lipid metabolism.[2]\xa0However, a clinical study has demonstrated that HCA has no effect in terms of weight loss or reduction of fat mass.[3]" According to WebMD, "Garcinia is\xa0POSSIBLY SAFE\xa0for most people when used for 12 weeks or less. Long-term safety is unknown. Garcinia can cause\xa0nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and\xa0headache."
How Much To Take?
500-1000 MG before each meal not to exceed 3000 mg per day. If you go over 3000 consult your doctor for permission. Take it on an empty stomach 30- 60 minutes before you eat your meal to get the maximum effect. Do not take it if you're pregnant. As this is a supplement (and not regulated) there isn't much information.
Haven't We Seen This Before?
If there truly was a pill that would allows us to sit on the couch and lose weight -without nasty side effects - wouldn't we have found it? Do you ever notice that most of this "Super food" is great when\xa0used with a regular helping of diet and exercise.\xa0Wouldn't diet and exercise give you positive results without messing with your liver in the first place? There is a magic pill. It's call diet and exercise. Don't fall for this crap. If you do buy it, use this affiliate link, and let me know if it works (I'm pretty sure it's a scam).
