Those who live in the flesh are not just in a different political party or embrace other economic ideas. The difference between those in the flesh and those in the spirit cannot just be seen late Sunday morning when we see who goes to church, and who does not. Christians have not embraced the life of the spirit because we have not understood the life of the flesh. We my enjoy the company of our unbelieving friends more than we do the time we spend with believers. But this confusion is ill-advised. The division is not philosophical, cultural or even ideological. The division is total and absolute like the difference between + and – and if you think there is a grey area and a spot where you can straddle the difference I suggest you look more carefully at where the line is and just how deep, wide and unbridgeable it is.
