The War Against Religion

Religions do not need a god in the Christian sense. Religions are ethical systems based on law. Religions require a law giver and a mechanism for enforcing the law. But the law is always enacted in a way that makes it unlawful to oppose the law. The more authoritarian the system the more draconian the punishment for offending the law. Treason and apostasy is where the lawgivers legitimacy is questioned. The law regulates therefore the law defines identity. The law must identify what it regulates. But is this the natural order of things or the way God designed things to be?
