The Right To Be Violent
We eschew violence to some degree yet embrace it in other times and places. We condemn Russian violence yet laud the great destructive power that comes with the resistance of Ukraine. Which suggests a simple response to the violence of Will Smith can only miss the point. We may dislike violence but in the end we subscribe to the belief we have a right to be violent. The question is when and why do we have a right to be violent?
