Children are dependents some people, even rich and powerful ones, remain that way. It is not just the vagabond that depends on the benevolence of others to provide his food and clothes, bankers, politicians, portfolio managers and their ilk are in the same boat. They produce nothing of value and certainly nothing that compensates the rest of us for what their existence costs the planet. The world would be far better off getting rid of this system that makes them important, and putting them all on welfare.
