Deviancy is a problem only if normalcy is a real thing. We have been taught it is largely an illusion. If normalcy is an abstraction and perhaps a bias, then deviancy is not a real thing. A deviant is just a label hateful people paste on people they do not understand. Naturally, if normalcy is not a real thing, then anyone who opposes anyone for anything is a hateful person. No one can claim they are better than anyone else on account of how they live or because of the things they do not do. But you can claim the other person is more hateful than you if they oppose something you are willing to permit. Deviancy becomes in fact a measure of how tolerant you are and how hateful the other person is for opposing the choices of other people. But normalcy is a real thing.
