Jennifer Tracy was born and raised in Colorado. She married young and had 3 daughters by the time she was 24. She considers herself a lifelong learner—and cites her most useful degree being an Honorary Doctorate in “RLE” (Real Life Experience). Jennifer uses every day language to bring to life what she has learned from her three years of study at Metropolitan State College, therapy, faith and so much more.

Jennifer experienced abuse on many levels as a child. In spite of those hardships, she graduated a year early from high school with a 4.0 GPA. At the age of 29, she lost her husband and one of her twin daughters in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. Her two surviving daughters, McKayla and Amber, were left permanently injured. Both have graduated from high school, and her oldest daughter, McKayla, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Criminal Justice Degree.

Within a year of this life-altering crash, Jennifer was diagnosed not only with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) but also a brain malformation. Instead of being a victim of these circumstances, with God's help, Jennifer focused on being a survivor and forged all of these events into something significant and positive.
