121: Traveling Blind - Part 1

This week's guest is Michael Schwartz. He is a filmmaker who has been losing his eyesight since he was 13 years old. He describes his vision as being like the\xa0foggiest day in San Francisco but even more blurry.

He's currently half-way through a documentary that his taking him all over the world to document stories of people who are losing, or have already lost, their sight. The people he's highlighting are sailors, mountain climbers, entrepreneurs ... people who're accomplishing amazing things despite the challenges they face.

In today's episode, we focus on Michael's own story of how losing his eyesight has made him appreciate the world more, how it affects the way he travels, and his experiences in Australia, New Zealand, and Israel as part of the documentary.
