A new charity, Veterans HQ, is in the last two to convert the former King's Barracks in Everton into a centre for the city region's veterans. The North West recruits 37% of the country's armed forces and there are over 87,000 veterans here in Liverpool city region.
\\n\\n\\nThe centre would be able to help veterans withe the dedicated support they need, from mental health services to job searches.
\\n\\n\\nThe new charity has also got a new patron, the Earl of Derby DL.
\\n\\n\\nStuart & John joined Mick Coyle ahead of National Armed Forces Day to talk about the charity.
