Head of Welfare for City of Liverpool FC, Mike Caulfied, was alongside Owen Cotterell from State of Mind sport, to talk about their upcoming mental health event at the Purps home game vs Ashton this weekend.

Chasing the Stigma and State of Mind are the two dedicated charities for the day and will be holding a bucket collection to support both organisations.

\\n\\n\\n

The players will wear warm up t-shirts which will carry a positive message "It\'s OK not to be OK" and they are also planning to hold a balloon release immediately prior to kick off of 50 purple balloons each carrying a card with a positive message and also resources that could be used by anyone who feels that they need support with their mental health.

\\n\\n\\n

There will\\xa0also be a safe space provided for anyone who may want to talk in more depth about their mental health.
